PROFILE: Sovereign1Groove is a Electronic Smooth Jazz Artist, Composer & Producer..based out of Dayton,Ohio.

 

ARTIST BACKGROUND Sovereign1Groove has worked in the music industry for over forty years as a songwriter,                producer, arranger, manager and legal/business consultant for various indie artists and bands from New York City, Dayton, Ohio to Los Angeles. From 2010 to 2016, he has been a staff producer, writer and business executive at Windswept Orchestra Records Group; working with renowned former Motown Records producer/vocal arranger and songwriter Troy Laws. Sovereign1Groove currently oversees the entire A&R production at Anchalen International Records and associated labels & imprints...of Mello City Record Partners.

 

In 2015, he took the leap as a solo artist and broke out with his own brand of hip sound…that defines his musical signature and is uniquely his own. His debut EP “On The Groove Train (Tonight)” was released on Anchalen International Records in Los Angeles, Ca. His second EP Release: "Gabby's Moon Dance"..followed the same formula for success.

 

Recorded in historic "Dayton, Ohio" and released Oct 2019. It featured "hot" tracks and smooth sounds..just like his debut release...doing it the only way he knows how....hip and smooth! To date, he has released 5 singles and 9 studio EPs, all which have a global EDM audience and a vast number of devoted Smooth Jazz followers on the internet.

Moreover, he has held the Number "1" Spot on the "Reverbnation Music Charts" for EDM artist's in the Dayton, Ohio region for the past five (5) months and counting. With intense hot rhythms…all his songs are laced with smooth horns & silky string arrangements; backed by funky cool jazzy back beats and infused with his hip bass grooves… with each one fitting nicely into a musical pocket.

Now for the year of 2022…Sovereign1Groove has released a funky “new” hot single entitled: My Heart's Burning Desire (Is For You Babe). Sovereign1Groove is that one EDM/Smooth Jazz artist to watch for; and its a “sure thing” that they’ll be more “great music” to come from him in the near future.
